Per Amore Foundation was born out of the shared experiences and deep-rooted commitment of three childhood friends who grew up in a small, disadvantaged rural community in Kogi State, Nigeria. In a place where most families were subsistence farmers and government support was scarce, education and basic social amenities were luxuries few could afford.
Like many of their peers, these three friends began their education with hope, but only a few managed to complete it. What set them apart was the unexpected generosity of strangers—white missionaries who never knew their families but saw their potential and graciously sponsored their education. 20 years later, one is a Banker, another a priest, another, a lawyer—each making significant contributions to society.
However, they never forgot where they came from or the stark reality that many children in their hometown, and countless others across Nigeria, still face a lack of access to quality education and opportunities for a better future. The need is now more urgent than ever, as the world continues to advance, leaving behind those communities that remain underserved and overlooked.
The only way to break the cycle of poverty and underdevelopment is to invest not in temporary solutions, but in the minds of the next generation by empowering children and youth to become the architects of their future.
At Per Amore (For Love) Foundation, we are teaching people how to fish, we are sowing seeds of a brighter future for entire communities and generations to come.
To empower underserved communities through education and skill development opportunities that create sustainable change and break the cycle of poverty.
